CG Thermal Expands to Second Facility Amid Surging Demand for Systems
To meet the growing demand for chemical processing systems and heat exchangers, we at CG Thermal have expanded to an additional state-of-the-art facility in Twinsburg Township, Ohio.
Since 2010, we have specialized in providing process technology solutions for harsh and corrosive process streams, serving industries such as chemical processing, fertilizer production, and emerging technologies in the energy sector. Our dedication to innovation in materials and design has pushed the envelope and spurred tremendous expansion. Growth of our existing graphite business has opened doors to a wider range of products, services, and customers in the chemical processing industry.
Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic in 2020, we experienced significant growth during this time. Chiefly, the increased demand for chemical process and system design prompted the birth of our Systems Group. Headed by our Engineering Manager of Process and System Design, Rob Grooms, the group quickly expanded. In that same year, as our graphite business also skyrocketed, we added equipment and staffing to double the resin impregnation capacity, increasing throughput and further expanding sales.
To sustain this momentum and better serve our customers, we added a second facility in October 2024. This nearly 13,000-square-foot Corporate Headquarters, located at 1470 Enterprise Parkway, boasts updated amenities, including a modern office environment with multiple conference rooms, a full kitchen, lounge areas designed for collaboration, and a crane-served production center with the capacity suitable for assembling large modular systems.
While our original building at 8950 Dutton will continue to be a Production Center, handling the majority of heat exchangers and small systems manufacturing, our new facility will be dedicated to assembling and testing pilot plants and turnkey modular systems. Additionally, the larger office space will offer greater efficiency for our continually growing team required to engineer, design, and manage our systems projects.
This expansion represents a significant step forward for us, enabling us to better meet the needs of our growing customer base while continuing to push boundaries in chemical process technology. As we enter this new chapter, we remain committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our partners.
