Intermediate Tolling
Sulfuric acid has traditionally been used to produce the bleaching agent used in paper production. We have supplied sulfuric acid dilution systems to the paper and pulp industry to achieve desired compositions. Large plants may employ H2SO4 recovery and regeneration systems.

Paper & Pulp
MDI and TDI are central to the production of polyurethane. HCL is a byproduct in the production of phosgene used to produce MDI and TDI. Sulfuric Acid and Nitric Acid are also involved. Our Impervite graphite and Umax SIC ceramic materials are very well suited for these environments, and we are experienced in the conditioning system required.

Polymer Processing
Due to their high demand and market value, metals such a rhodium, palladium and platinum are recovered from catalytic converters for reuse. Our Umax SIC ceramic heat exchanger has proven success in evaporation and condensation of streams containing aquaregine or other highly corrosive mixed acids common to this recovery process.

Precious Metal
The production of common regrigerants like R-32 and R134 require processes involving HF and HCl. Due to the highly corrosive chemistries, our Impervite Graphite and Umax SIC ceramin heat exchangers are choosen for safety and reliability, and to maximize productivity.

Refrigerants
An HCL absorption system is required in the production of chlorosilanes, a feedstock for silicone polymers. Metallurgical grade silicon is refined with HCl to produce higher purities for solar and semiconductor products. We provide HCl synthesis, desorption, and azeotrope breaking systems, in addtion to graphite heat exchangers and FRP towers.

The PPS-GR graphite is an excellent material choice for the evaporators used to concentrate the spin bath fluid.
