ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel (BPV) Certification – U Stamp / G Mark
CG Thermal is authorized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to manufacture U-Stamped pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1. This authorization also includes the production of G-Mark parts and vessels.
Under this certificate, CG Thermal is qualified to design and fabricate pressure vessels in compliance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. All ASME U-Stamped vessels are constructed under the oversight and quality-control requirements defined and approved by ASME and require approval from an Authorized Inspector.
This certification demonstrates full compliance with ASME’s rigorous safety, design, material, and fabrication standards for pressure vessels used in corrosive and high-temperature chemical processing environments.
National Board “R” Stamp – Authorized Repairs & Alterations
CG Thermal holds a National Board Certificate of Authorization for use of the “R” Stamp, allowing us to perform repairs and alterations on pressure-retaining items in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC). This authorization covers both metallic and non-metallic vessels, including our impregnated graphite vessels, for work completed both at our facility and in the field. Application of an “R” Stamp to a vessel requires compliance with the NBIC and approval by Authorized Inspectors.
