Production Associate – Manufacturing
CG Thermal is a chemical process equipment manufacturing company located in Northeast Ohio. We are currently hiring a full-time, 1st shift Production Associate for our manufacturing facility in Twinsburg, Ohio. Plant hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm weekdays, with daily and weekend overtime available.
Starting hourly pay for this position is $19.00 to $20.00 based on the candidate’s experience.
The right candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience, good mechanical ability, and great attention to detail. This person will know how to use basic hand tools, common measuring devices, and will have a can-do, positive attitude. We are a small company that values each of our employees and has retained the same production crew for the past several years. We are adding personnel due to positive growth in our market.
Job responsibilities for this position include:
• Loading & unloading of various machines
• Washing & drying various graphite shapes and tubes
• Manual machine operation of large autoclaves & pressure vessels
• Manual machine operation of a horizontal hydraulic test press
• Hand sanding and cutting of graphite shapes or tubes
• General incoming parts inspection using common measuring devices
• Gathering, sorting, and counting out parts for assembly projects
• Cutting & deburring of metal rods, tubes, and bolts
• Reading and understanding mechanical blueprints & diagrams
• Filling out end-of-job and test paperwork as required
• Crating, boxing, or palletizing of finished parts
• Using a forklift or overhead crane to process parts and handle finished goods
• Cleaning and organizing of shop areas
• Must be able to follow all safety policies and written procedures
Required abilities include:
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, sit, squat, or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull, or drag up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate hand and power tools as required
• Can accurately read a tape measure within 1/16”
• Good organizing and efficiency skills
• Work well in a team environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have forklift experience
• Overhead crane experience is preferred
• Maintenance or mechanical experience is a plus
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime as requested
